For legal purposes, LP Tours corresponds to the company Lopes e Paulo Tours Viagens e Turismo, Lda., with registered office at Rua Novais da Cunha 853, 4420-225 Gondomar, Portugal.
Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the LP Tours website and the contracting of the passenger transport services provided by the company, with offices in Portugal and in France. By requesting a quote or contracting a service, the client accepts the terms described here.
Quote requests and bookings
Quote requests submitted through the website or by direct contact do not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only considered valid after written confirmation from LP Tours and acceptance of the specific conditions of each service, including the final price.
Prices
The values shown in the website's trip estimator are always indicative and serve only as an initial reference. The final price is set out in a proper quote, taking into account factors such as the exact distance, service hours, tolls, time of year, and other specific conditions of the trip.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposits or advance payments, are agreed with the client at the time of booking confirmation and are set out in the accepted quote.
Changes and cancellations
Changes to the trip, such as date, route or number of passengers, should be communicated to LP Tours as far in advance as possible. Whenever it is possible to adjust the service to the new requirement, the company will do what it can to make that happen. Cancellation conditions are set case by case, according to the service booked and the notice given.
LP Tours' responsibilities
LP Tours commits to providing the contracted transport service with vehicles in good working condition and qualified drivers, in accordance with the legislation applicable to passenger transport in Portugal and in France. The company is not responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its control, such as weather conditions, unforeseen traffic or decisions by public authorities.
Client's responsibilities
The client commits to providing correct information about the number of passengers, the intended route and any special requirements for the trip, and to complying with the agreed schedule. The client is responsible for passenger behaviour during the trip, with regard to compliance with the vehicle's safety rules.
Force majeure
LP Tours is not responsible for failure to provide, or delay in providing, the service when this results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including extreme weather conditions, strikes, traffic restrictions imposed by authorities, or other force majeure situations.
Intellectual property rights
The content of this website is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. No reproduction, publication or other use of this website is permitted without LP Tours' prior written consent.
Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute related to this website or to the services described here is subject to the Porto Court, which has exclusive jurisdiction over the matter.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be changed by LP Tours at any time, without prior notice. The current version is always available from the website's footer.
